Today we’re going to be looking at the rise of Japan during the Years of Crisis. Over the past week or so, we’ve looked at Italy and Germany, but we need to remember that Japan is serious aggressor in World War II. We started off thinking about this question:
What would you do if you saw someone being attacked by an older or stronger person?
This is a metaphor for the options that countries like Britain and the United States had as the axis powers were aggressively expanding. Then we talked about the rise of Japan and finished with reading about the aggression of the Axis powers in the textbook (Chapter 31, Section 4). Everything you need is below!
