The Atomic Bomb

Today and tomorrow we will be talking about the use of the Atomic Bomb on Japan and examining the issue from multiple perspectives.  You can find the source packets below.  Follow the directions int the packet.  If you missed class entirely, you can choose between the United States Packet, or the Japanese Packet.

When you get to the last page of the document, you’ll notice that it asks you to choose an image.  The idea is that you (and your partner/group) are on a committee to pick an image to represent a memorial for the dropping of the Atomic Bombs.  Choose from the images at the top of this post.   Based on the narratives that you have explored in this packet, the image must be acceptable to bot the United States and Japan.
