Welcome to World Studies, 2016-17!

back-to-schoolWelcome back to school!

I’m very glad to have you as a part of mY World Studies class this year!  You will have the opportunity to explore the development of the modern world from the end of the renaissance up to modern day.  We will do our best to connect what has happened in the past to our current world today in an effort to better understand hot to change the world for the better, tomorrow.

This first week we will be getting to know one another, going over classroom rules and procedures and digging into our personal histories (more on that to come!)

As I mentioned in class, I will post our daily activities on this blog.  If you are absent for a day, you can use this website as a way to stay current.  I am usually pretty good about updating it daily, but if you can’t find something for a specific day, feel free to contact me and let me know what you’re looking for.

On Thursday, we will be going over the Syllabus in class.  If you need an extra copy, check out the Syllabus page.  Your assignments and projects, likewise will be posted on the Assignments and Projects page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to see me in class, send me an email (bennett.alex@battlegroundps.org), call my classroom phone (360-433-3998), or send me a note on my Contact Page.
